Blower Door Testing New Homes

    Our goal is to help you meet or exceed the Minnesota Residential Energy Code* requirements for sealing your home.

    We provide this service by means of blower door testing.  Blower testing measures how leaky a house is.  

    We provide blower door testing services for Central Minnesota including the Twin Cites Metro Area.  Testing can take place any time after all exterior penetrations have been made and sealed.  Most homes should pass without problems, but if a home does not; we will diagnose where the problem areas are and recommend how to fix them.

*Since 2015, the Minnesota Energy Code requires new houses to be tested for leaks. During the test, the air leakage rate is not to exceed 3 ACH @50 (3 air changes per hour at a pressure difference of 50 pascals).
