Blower Door Testing New Homes

     2015 Minnesota Residential Energy Code now requires a blower door test on all new houses.  Air leakage rate not exceeding 3 air changes per hour at a pressure of 50 pascals (ACH 50). 
     We provide this service at  competitive  rates for Central Minnesota including the Twin Cites Metro Area.  Testing can take place any time after all exterior penetrations have been made and sealed.  The building official can require testing to be conducted by an approved third party.  Most homes should pass without problems, but if a home does not we will diagnose where the problem areas are and recommend how to fix them.
